The region around the Rhine is not only known for its breathtaking landscapes, but also for its historic towns and wine-growing areas, which invite you to discover and enjoy
The campsite is ideally located for exploring some of the region's most impressive sights. For nature lovers and hikers, there is the "Rheingsteig", an extensive network of hiking trails that runs through the Rhine Valley and offers breathtaking views of the countryside and the river. Cyclists can also explore the region on numerous well-developed cycle paths and cycle through the valley along the Rhine. Those interested in the history and culture of the region can visit the many castles, historical sites and museums that reflect the rich history of the Rhine Valley. For wine lovers, there are numerous wineries and winegrowers' co-operatives where you can immerse yourself in the winegrowing culture of the "Rheingau" and taste the region's world-famous wines

The quiet, flood-free location offers a relaxed ambience that is suitable for both short weekend trips and longer stays. Our 4-hectare campsite offers 30 spacious pitches that blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings and offer a fantastic view of the Rhine and the surrounding vineyards and forests. Permanent pitches are available on request for regular short breaks.
Modern sanitary facilities and a small playground ensure comfort and fun. We do not have a fixed pitch plan so that the pitches are sufficiently spaced out and you can enjoy your peace and quiet
Nature is also taken into account when selecting the area to ensure optimum use during your holiday. A bird's nest in the electricity box? Then a pitch may not be available for a while
Sanitary facilities – cleanliness for your stay
Our toilets have recently been modernised and now offer a pleasant, well-maintained atmosphere. This contributes to our guests feeling completely at ease with us. Your stay will be even more pleasant and relaxed - we attach great importance to cleanliness and modern facilities!
Our campsite offers a functional and well-maintained sanitary area that meets the needs of all guests. There are several free washing areas available, as well as lockable cubicles for men and women, which provide more privacy. In addition, we offer a special baby washroom with a changing table and a small bathtub to ensure that even the youngest guests can enjoy a comfortable wash
Sanitary paper is replenished regularly and the entire sanitary area is cleaned daily to ensure a high level of cleanliness at all times.
The sanitary building is centrally located in the main building and is easily accessible for all guests. The area is heated so that it can be used comfortably even in cooler times
Our huts – comfort for up to 4 people
Our cabins can accommodate up to 4 people and are ideal for a relaxing stay in nature. Each hut has a sleeping area in the main part and a second separate sleeping area equipped with a 2-person bunk bed. You only need to bring your own bed linen, while blankets and pillows are already provided
All cabins are equipped with heating to ensure pleasant temperatures even on cooler nights. For self-catering, the cabins have a fully equipped mini-kitchen with a stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, crockery and fridge. So you can prepare your meals as you wish
The minimum rental period is 2 nights. Dogs are welcome in the cabins so that your four-legged friend can also enjoy their vacation. Please note that the final cleaning must be carried out independently
A wooden hut that radiates a special atmosphere in its simplicity and coziness. The wooden walls, the scent of the natural material and the rustic furnishings create a homely feeling that conveys a sense of security even in seclusion. This is the ideal place to find peace and quiet. A stay in a wooden hut in the forest offers more than just a break from everyday life. It is a return to simplicity, to the origins of life. Here you have time for the things that are often neglected in hectic everyday life - pausing in silence or hiking through the forest. Without the pressure of modern obligations and the constant noise of the world, you can reflect on the essentials and recharge your batteries
Nature conservation – our campsite is in harmony
Our facility is located in the protected Natura 2000 nature reserve, a particularly valuable and sensitive area that promotes the preservation of natural diversity. We therefore attach great importance to organising many of our operational processes in harmony with nature. For example, we use natural electricity and pay attention to the sustainable use of resources. The facility offers a night-time quiet phase to give space to the natural sounds of the environment and ensure a restful night's sleep.
However, due to our orientation, we are less suitable for group holidays, as our focus is on a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Our resort is the perfect place for guests who appreciate a peaceful retreat for their holiday
Our access road is increasingly appreciated, especially for the breathtaking panorama it offers. We are in the picturesque Rheingau Mountains, an area renowned for its scenic beauty. The roads are narrow and quite steep in places (with gradients of up to 13%), which requires a leisurely drive
Please note that the access road for caravans and motorhomes is designed as a one-way road to ensure safe and smooth traffic (max. 3m wide). During the work in the vineyards, there may be short waiting times of a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes. We ask for your understanding and recommend that you simply take your time to enjoy the unique panorama. If your vehicle is lower than 2.20 metres, you can also use the railway subway (Gate 2)

We would like to politely point out that caravans and motorhomes over 7.5 metres in length may have difficulties in accessing the vineyard roads. In this case, please leave a note in the reservation form so that we can check the reservation accordingly

coming from south/Frankfurt:
Via the A66 motorway from Rüdesheim am Rhein, continue to Aßmannshausen. Pass the first access road with subway (height 2.20 m). Continue for approx. 3 km in the direction of Lorch, then cross the railway overpass ‘im Bächergrund’. First 100 metres straight ahead and then follow the campsite signs for 4 kilometres
coming from north/ Koblenz:
Coming via the B42 at Lorch, first cross the railway overpass ‘im Bächergrund’. First go straight on for 100 metres and then follow the campsite signs for 4 kilometres

The size of our pitches varies and each terrace has its very own character. So you are guaranteed to get the pitch that perfectly suits your needs and at the same time invites you to relax in the midst of unspoilt nature. We attach great importance to keeping our prices as moderate as possible to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, where the site is quiet from 10 p.m., and the natural surroundings that will make your holiday a unique experience
